A new generation is meeting Ida B. Wells for the first time, and recognizing something familiar: she was young when she started, she was told to wait her turn, and she refused. Our goal is not to build her a pedestal. It is to put her methods, verify, document, publish, into the hands of the people inheriting the fight.
